Eight recipes to help you get started with your Airfryer

Crisp, tasty results, with little to no oil.


Salmon with peppercorn seasoning and orange 

Ingredients: 

  • 600 g salmon fillets, preferably skin on
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • Zest from 1 orange
  • 1 tsp salt


Method:

  1. Cut the salmon into four equal pieces.
  2. Crush the pepper.
  3. Zest the outer layer of the orange with a zester or grater.
  4. Mix the pepper, salt and orange zest.
  5. Rub the salmon with the peppercorn mix and leave it for 15 minutes.
  6. Fry the salmon in the air fryer using the Fish programme.
  7. Cut the orange and squeeze some orange juice on top of the cooked salmon.

Sweet potato fries with aioli

Ingredients:

  • 2 large sweet potatoes 
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tbsp lemon zest
  • 200 ml cooking oil
  • 1 pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 pinch of salt


Method:

  1. Peel and slice the sweet potato into 0.5 cm strips.
  2. Fry the strips using the French Fries programme.
  3. For the aioli: mix the garlic, egg yolk and lemon zest with a hand blender into an even mixture. 
  4. Pour in the slowly bit stirring continuously. Continue to mix until it thickens.
  5. Season with salt and cayenne pepper.

Roasted vegetables

Ingredients:

  • 1 aubergine
  • 1 courgette 
  • 1 red pepper
  • 10 green asparagus spears
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt 
  • 2 tsp fresh chopped thyme
  • 1 pinch black pepper


Method:

  1. Cut the aubergine and courgette into 1.5 cm slices and cut the pepper into 2x2 cm pieces.
  2. Remove the bottom part of the asparagus.
  3. Season all the vegetables, except the asparagus, with olive oil, salt, pepper and chopped thyme. 
  4. Fry the vegetables with the Vegetable programme in the air fryer. 
  5. Add the asparagus to the rest of the vegetables halfway through cooking. 

Crispy chicken drumsticks

Ingredients: 

  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 3 eggs, whisked with 1 tbsp water
  • 100 g flour
  • 200 g panko or regular breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tsp paprika powder.


Ingredients for the chilli aioli:

  • 200 g aioli
  • 1 tbsp fine chopped fresh chili
  • 1 tsp ground cumin


Method:

  1. Mix together the flour, salt, paprika and black pepper.
  2. Bread the chicken drumsticks by first dipping them in the flower mixture, then into the egg mixture and then into the breadcrumbs. 
  3. Spread the drumsticks evenly in the air fryer basket and fry them with the Drumstick programme.
  4. Serve with chilli aioli.

Whole chicken filled with lemon and garlic

Ingredients:

  • 1 whole chicken, 1.2 kg
  • 1 lemon
  • 1 garlic bulb
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp black pepper


Method:

  1. Cut the lemon in half.
  2. Stuff the chicken with the lemon and garlic and rub the chicken with salt and pepper.
  3. Put the chicken in the basket and fry with the Whole Chicken programme.
  4. Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes after cooking. 

Steak

Ingredients:

  • 225 g entrecote / sirloin steak
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tsp fresh chopped rosemary


Method:

  1. Season the beef on both sides with the salt, pepper and rosemary.
  2. Place the beef in the fryer and fry on the Meat programme.
  3. Leave the beef to rest for 5 minutes after the programme is finished.

Pizza Margarita

Dough:

  • 15 g fresh yeast
  • 125 ml lukewarm water
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g wheat flour


Knead all the ingredients for the dough for 10 minutes. Cover the bowl and leave for 30 minutes to prove, it should double in size.


Tomato sauce (cold-stirred):

  • 200 g tinned tomatoes 
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 pinch salt


Mix all ingredients with a hand blender.


Topping:

  • Mozzarella
  • Basil leaves
  • 2 tbsp olive oil


Roll the dough into a suitable size for the basket. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough, top with the mozzarella and basil. Bake on the Pizza programme. Drizzle olive oil over the fresh-baked pizza.

Blueberry muffin with crumble topping (6 pcs)

Muffin:

  • 200 g wheat flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 15 g butter
  • 75 ml milk
  • 1 egg
  • 100 g frozen blueberries
  • 1 tbsp icing sugar


Crumb topping:

  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp oats
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp wheat flour


Method:

  1. Melt the butter and mix together with the milk and egg. 
  2. Mix all the dry ingredients and then add the milk mixture.
  3. Mix the blueberry and icing sugar together and then add to the other ingredients. 
  4. Mix the ingredients for the topping.
  5. Pour the muffin mixture into large muffin cups, preferably silicone cups.
  6. Add the topping on top of the muffins.
  7. Bake the muffins in the air fryer on the Muffin programme.
