The Elephant
Simon’s culinary career started early in his life. By his early teens he already had several World Junior titles to his name and he has been adding to the list ever since, with a myriad of awards, including the Roux scholarship for young chefs in 2003 and the National Chef of the Year award in 2008. The Elephant was awarded a Michelin star in 2006 which it maintains today.
Simon became a Roux Scholar in 2003. He is captain of the British team in the Culinary Olympics and was also captain of the English Culinary Team at the Culinary World Cup in 2010. Simon is the only British chef to win gold at the World Chef Championship in France.
Simon will be cooking for just one special Christmas eve service bringing with him the best that Devon has to offer.

The Hand and Flowers
Tom Kerridge is chef patron at the extraordinary two Michelin-starred Hand & Flowers pub in Marlow, which he opened with wife Beth in Spring 2005.
In less than a year, they won one Michelin Star, 6/10 and Buckinghamshire Newcomer of the Year in the Good Food Guide, 3 AA Rosettes and one Egon Ronay Star.
Tom’s menu combines unpretentious modern British flavours as well as rustic French dishes on a menu which features the best available seasonal ingredients.
In the 2012 Michelin Guide, the Hand and Flowers was the first pub to be awarded two Michelin Stars.

Atul Kochhar is the chef/patron of Benares in Mayfair, London. He was the first Indian chef to gain a Michelin star at Tamarind and has since won a Michelin star at Benares. He has also opened Vatika in Hampshire and Ananda in Dublin – both to critical acclaim.

Scotland’s youngest recipient of a Michelin star, Tom Kitchin (29) is supported by Electrolux everyday in his restaurant, The Kitchin, in Leith. Born in Edinburgh and trained locally, Tom spent nearly a decade working with the legendary Pierre Koffmann in 3 Michelin-starred La Tante Claire in London, and Pierre remains his mentor to date. Two Michelin-starred chef Claude Bosi moved from France to the UK in 1997, to the Overton Grange Hotel in Ludlow, Shropshire, winning them a Michelin star in 1998. After two years, Claude, along with his wife, opened Hibiscus, which was awarded its first Michelin star in 2001, followed by a second in 2004. In 2007 the restaurant relocated to London’s Mayfair where they continue to be supported by Electrolux in their kitchen everyday.

Winners of Channel 4‘s ‘Ramsay’s Best Restaurant 2010’ and Michelin star holders Jonray and Peter Sanchez are head chefs and owners of Casamia in Westbury on Trym.
